This Word Puzzle contains the names of members of the Drafting Committee of the Constituent Assembly. But who were these people? And why are they so important? Let’s rewind a little bit.

The Drafting Committee was appointed by the Constituent Assembly on 29 August 1947. It was responsible for the crucial task of analysing the Draft Constitution of B.N. Rau (Constitutional Adviser to the Assembly), and producing a revised version before the Assembly.

The Drafting Committee sat for 141 days and produced the Draft Constitution with 395 Articles and 8 Schedules. The Assembly spent most of its time, 114 out of 165 days, debating this Draft Constitution.

Now, it is a well known fact that B.R. Ambedkar was the Chairman of the Drafting Committee. But a task of such scale and importance can not be completed by a single individual, not even someone as prodigious as Dr. Ambedkar! He was assisted by eight other individuals who brought a variety of expertise and viewpoints to the table. Find their names in the word puzzle.
