: Mr. President, Sir, I beg to motive :”That in amendment No.272 of List IV (Seventh Week), the following proviso be added to clause (2) of the proposed article 266 :–‘Provided that the trade or business which was carried on by or on behalf of the Government of a State before the commencement of this Constitution and any income accruing or rising therefrom shall not be liable to Union taxation’.”
